= #ParaEventsBlog : Annotation entry, #blog no. 47 ~ small #artwork fell down in house sunroom for second time…
This is another blog-entry when the Event is odd “enough” for me to make mention of in annotated-form, but not quite acute enough for full- #vlog or blog…
Today, Saturday, July 23, 2022, around 1:00 PM, the pictured artwork (graphic of coffee cup with coffee, pink background on light-weight, oval wooden piece of wood) fell from its hanging position on the wall near our sunroom. Second time it had fallen from there–first time apprx 2 months ago (late-April, or early-May).
As one can see in pic 2, on the top-back of the artwork, i used DUCT TAPE (stronger than most tape in retail) after it fell the first time…originally, the artwork–created by my wife, Deni Moore , had another adhesive not quite as strong.
Today’s event, our air conditioner was on, and house-temperature was around 79-degrees Fahrenheit; according to website Time and Date, Lincoln’s humidity was somewhere around 38% (considered moderate, and not likely a factor for the artwork’s fall).
I probably would not have even bothered with this entry but for the fact that, A) not just the second time it fell “out of nowhere,” so to speak, but even after i used duct tape on it! And, B) that very weird incident of our pseudo-kitchen drawer, how it simply popped out of its place in our kitchen nearly two years ago (Oct. 11, 2020–right before #Halloween, how about that!)! I don’t have an explanation for why this art piece fell. Could be simple case of Time–that, perhaps, the medium-sized piece of duct tape i used for the artwork’s hook lost adhesiveness over time (?). But, in any case, for now i file this Event under the Unknown category.
